This program will provide an overview of T-Visa eligibility and drafting petitions for survivors of human trafficking. T-Visas are a nonimmigrant status available to nonimmigrants who are present in the United States due to human trafficking. T-Visas provide a path to legal status and seek to address the injustice inflicted upon survivors. The program will provide an overview of the process for volunteer attorneys to assist survivors of human trafficking through this petition. Attendees will learn how to file these petitions on behalf of survivors, thereby helping them to rebuild their lives and obtain justice.
